The # symbol isn’t officially called hashtag, its technical name is octothorpe.

1. Do not over commit, when starting a new gym/routine people often bite off more than they can chew. January for example, people jumping in and saying they will be in the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours at a time – ridiculous, that is close professional athlete standard. Start with 1/2 days a week and build up, everyone has to start somewhere.
2. Cutting out carbs and just eating salad is not healthy. Carbs are great and salad is boring. Want to lose weight, create a deficit of calories/energy, which basically means consume less than your body expends.
3. Lift weights!! Want shape? – whether it be around your glutes and legs or around your chest and arms you need to pick up some weights to build muscle and create that shape. Yes, doing just cardio compared to just weights will possibly burn a greater amount of calories per session, but will leave you looking flat.
