Convid-19 vs Vitamins:

Seeing this more and more, that taking certain vitamins will help protect you against Convid-19.


The people/companies telling you that their vitamins will help fight off the virus are not lying… but the actual difference it will make is minuet. Taking multivitamins such

ree

as vitamin A-E, calcium, folic acid etc will make your body more efficient and healthier meaning your chances of getting ill are slightly lower.

Footnote* Most vitamins take 2-4 weeks before they are truly in your system and being used optimally.

Vitamins alone don’t just make you “healthy”, other factors that contribute towards your overall health:


1. Physical health, being active

2. Stress levels (work, family, financial)

3. Good amount of sleep for your body

4. Healthy diet (try to avoid heavily processed foods)


It is all these factors together that determine your health.

On a similar note, this is my supplement advise:


1. Cod liver oil - great for lubrication of your joints

2. Glucosamine - great for strengthening ligaments and tendons around your joints

3. Vitamin D - we live in England and sunshine is a real rarity!!

4. Multivitamins – only if you struggle to take in enough fruit and veg through whole foods is it a great way to help boost your vitamin count

These are all supplements, they shouldn’t replace anything in your diet. They are there as their name suggests to supplement our diet.
