Thousands of supplements out there, but which ones do you really need??
Pre workout - great stimulate, but not necessary. Having an espresso would have a similar outcome.
BCCA’s - marketed very well, less than 0.5% effect on training.
Protein shakes (whey protein) - not necessary but very convenient when it comes to consuming protein. Eg. It’s a lot easy to drink a protein shake when you’re on the go rather than eat a chicken breast.
Cod liver oil - great for lubrication of your joints
Glucosamine - great for strengthening ligaments and tendons around your joints
Multivitamins - great way to help boost your vitamin count
Vitamin D - we live in England and sunshine is a real rarity!!
These are all supplements, they shouldn’t replace anything in your diet. They are there as their name suggests to supplement our diet
